British media have been obsessed with the story of missing 4-year-old Madeleine McCann since her disappearance last May. And when her parents became suspects in the case, it seemed there was no other news in England. and here I thought the British were supposed to be more sophisticated than we Yanks.
It is reassuring (in a strange way) that the brain-eater can cross the pond and is not a prisoner of the American 24-hour news chasm.
