The Onion News Network does for video what the Onion newspaper does for print – satire of current events and the media themselves. So how do they pull off a near dead-on approximation of an actual newscast? Executive producer Will Graham and head writer Carol Kolb explain.

I read, heard or saw a report recently that recounted, with scientific evidence, what I have always known that our intellect peaks at around age twelve, just before the hormones kick in. The values I held then have always guided me, despite many life experiences which would seem to negate them. I saw beyond my narrow self-interest then.
The idea that a child was used for political purpose presupposes duress which is likely not the case judging from the support Obama has received from young people throughout this campaign. Should young people be discouraged from participation in the democratic process?
In Bob's complaint about the child actor he missed one of the big stories of this political season, the children of Obama supporters being used for political purpose. This is a huge shift in the political dialogue that should be right in OTMs wheelhouse. Especially since the message the child delivered sounds like it is lifted from a Center for American Progress event that should have been hosted by the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
