He makes a good point about how we need to secure our databases of information that our government collects. We have no way of knowing how they are using this data or who is able to have access. What happens when local law enforcement begins to have to access to some of this data on a day to day basis. Data mining giants (like google) and the advertising firms that buy there information are just as bad.

I love this show and I'm sick that our local NPR station WLRN no longer carries it. I continue to listen to the podcasts and I feel that now more than ever we need to be scrutinizing our sources on information. Staying open minded and not isolating ourselves by only listening to the same polarizing points of view (or propaganda) is becoming more essential to meting out something close to Truth. This show really gives the listener some helpful tools.
