This week, journalists in Kabul learned of new restrictions against reporting, including this one: no more live coverage from the scene of a terrorist attack. Saad Mohseni heads Tolo TV , one of Afghanistan's most popular stations. He explains why the Afghan government has imposed these new restrictions and why the ban is destined to fail.

Reporting Taped reported March 5, 2010. This report is about how reporters over in the middle east are not allowed to report about terrorist. They say it gives away police position and puts them in harms way.
In my opinion they are right. Over in the middle east anyone can blow themselves up, and that person can just so happen to be beside you.
On the other hand reporters do want the latest scoop, and there job is to inform the public.
This report was very effective because of the sound bits it gives of the actually reports.
Even with these limitations, I did manage to find some news from Kabul, if you're interested: http://www.pressdisplay.com/pressdisplay/showlink.aspx?bookmarkid=GP8YZ66R6GM1&preview=article&linkid=0ed9bb56-fbef-491c-8ffc-d1d26f7f96c2&pdaffid=ZVFwBG5jk4Kvl9OaBJc5%2bg%3d%3d
Hope this helps,
