This week, in a Florida court, Casey Anthony was acquitted of charges that she murdered her daughter Caylee. But in the court of public opinion, she was already guilty. Kendall Coffey, former US Attorney for Florida and author of Spinning the Law talks about how the media and the jury could have reached such starkly different conclusions.

maybe it's time to sit back and really look at our courts..I also thought there wasn't enough evidence to put casey in jail. It's a new world and "progress" in the media talking heads, are glorifying, the "ugliness" happening within your own backyard. If a president can get away with "screwing around" Did the public pay for the senate hearings on Clinton? Or did the Clintons? Our backyard, starts within the government
No proof of a crime being committed was offered. Meanwhile, Anthony will pay every day for the rest of her life.
Shame on you for distracting us from real issues. Lack of and the massive shrinking of funding for women's health, for example.
Good show, but I was distressed that the HLN coverage of the Casey Anthony trial was treated so gently. The HLN anchors and commentators, especially Nancy Grace and the Velez-Mitchell woman, did everything possible to whip up a lynch mob mentality, consistently using the emotionally charged language possible. They even roped Dr. Drew into this frenzy of hate, and now he hypocritically warns his listeners to calm down. If someone does attack Casey after her release, HLN will be responsible. Inciting to violence is not included in freedom of speech. The fact that Ms Anthony is a creepy little sociopath in now way excuses HLN's behavior.
