The Metropolitan Police Commissioner has resigned, and even British Prime Minister David Cameron has come under intense public pressure. "News Corppp" or "news core"? Salmon said "core" which is WTF. And Bob keeps moving back and forth between the two. Also WTF.
What bothers me about stories like the Murdoch scandal is the compartmentalization of the story. Every story from Enron, BP oil spill, the wall street mess and so many others are tied together by the common theme of unregulated, "to big to fail" capitalism. Our lives are controlled by corporate giants that have more power than governments. If we spent as much time focusing on downsizing corprations as we are presently on downsizing government, we would have more control over our own lives.
