One explanation that's been given for the increase in network news viewership is the variety of choices now available among the three major newscasts. Brooke spoke with Andrew Tyndall, who monitors the nightly newscasts of ABC, NBC and CBS on the Tyndall Report website. He says the days of the interchangeable newscast are over.

@Judy Davis:
"How can Mr. Tyndall call the killing of 18 Bengal tigers a trivial story? If anything, the Khadafi story is trivial- the demise of a despicable man by a bunch of people who took the law into their own hands. We knew it was coming, we just didn't know the when."
Wow. Really?
How many airliners did Bengal tigers bring down?
You think the fate of Khadafi is trivial to the families of the Lockerbie victims?
To paraphrase Henry Ford, "you can have any variety of network news, as long as it's left-wing biased."
I am behind in my podcasts so I am just finishing up the podcasts of the 28th.

These majestic animals were slaughtered because of a deranged human. They did no one any harm. It was sad beyond words and this heartless idiot can't seem to understand that. And shame on you Brooke, for laughing. Laughing at the killing of 18 tigers, not to mention the lions, bears, and monkeys that were killed. Very sad. Could you please explain to me why this story is trivial? I just don't understand. It made me sick to my stomach and Tyndall calls it trivial and Brooke laughs. What am I missing? Child abuse and animal abuse. Funny stuff?
Thank you
Judy Davis
i'll believe it when i see it.
