After creating and completing his own extremely practical “concentration” in Buddhism and Capitalism at NYU, Mark found himself bored out of his mind while temping at a law firm. To keep his sanity, he listened to public radio and eventually stumbled across OTM, which inspired him to promptly quit. Since then Mark’s done work for WNYC’s Brian Lehrer Show, Radio Lab, Soundcheck, and PRI’s Fair Game. He also makes indie-pop music under the name Sono Oto.
