Iraqi Dissident Spin

Friday, August 30, 2002

The State Department is training a group of Iraqi dissidents to spread an anti-Saddam Hussein message on TV talk shows and in newspapers. Host Brooke Gladstone talks to one dissident, Muhannad Eshaiker of the Iraqi Forum for Democracy. Then host Bob Garfield talks to Hussein Ibish of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, who thinks the training is a waste of resources.
