It would appear that Mr Goodman may have confused the game Americas Army with Halo 3. Confusion and similar errors amongst journalists unfamiliar with video games are common, especially those already looking to villainize violent video games.
Obviously, the above is the standard promo for Letters but it was seriously misleading in this case. Literally true, one usually imagines "you" to include average posters not interview subjects and those they report upon but, heck, the Army had to allow full coverage of Ft. Bragg's (my eldest brother's first posting) book-signing for Sarah's Going Rogue, so at least they're engaged with the media now, not hiding their heads in the sand!
They sure have a point about trying parental controls on teenagers.
