I was more interested in this one than the political ones because it's in the "everyday" adverts that culture comes through. I was about to say that us Brits would never run an ad as sentimental as the car industry one but then I remembered this:

Ps.The music and the general feel of the ad has been running for generations and there are many Brits who would feel a lump coming to their throat when they watch it. However, it was recently pointed out (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01m5hhy ) that we find that bit of music moving in its own right.
