I loved your "USA! USA!" chants, that was a great capper.
Okay, I watched it a second time, and your first two jokes are solid, MST3K level material. And there's not much substance in the original ad, and it doesn't cite specifics. I don't think you went after it enough. You only addressed the Medicare claim. And I'm sorry, but I didn't get the "only a little" comment about "tearing down the middle class." I think you did much better work on the values/gay marriage ad.
They're trying to scare the oldies because they know that the younger people, the ones who really WILL be affected by Ryan's dismantling of Medicare, aren't paying attention. Either that or they're brainwashed into thinking that Medicare won't be there for them anyway. The oldsters are already on Medicare, and they know how much they rely on it, how good it is, and how important it is. They may understand how disastrous Ryan's 'premium support' plan would be. Maybe they'll tell their 50-something kids.
I can't believe how blatantly manipulative that was. Thanks for ripping into that carefully crafted slab of media nothing. It really deserved it.
