The Ever Changing Syria Story

Friday, September 13, 2013

Transcript

The conversation about American strikes in Syria shifted this week, after Bashar Al-Assad suggested he would surrender his chemical weapons, and President Obama called on Congress to delay a decision on missile strikes. Bob takes a look at this week's Syria developments in the media, including the supposed gaffe by Secretary of State John Kerry that may have allowed the US to avoid going to war.

I am a long time listener who has recently shifted to the Podcast. I have found OTM to be entertaining and informative. Many times I have felt that I learned something from listening to the show. This week, however, I think I am stupider for having listened to the "cat" story. Please. don't ever do that again. I don't have enough neurons left to burn.
Thanks,
JG

I love your show and listen every Sunday. The one thing I want to know more about from today's show is about the little musical interlude that came 14 or 15 minutes into the show. It was violins and some sort of drum, both gypsy-like as well as somewhat Celtic in nature. What is the name of the piec3e and the artist and is it available on CD?

Thanks so much,
Amy Lawrence
