Hey, Alex, This is NOT NPR

Friday, June 27, 2014 - 11:34 AM

The clip above is just a little follow-up to Chris Neary's story last week about how public radio and "NPR" are two very different things. Oregon Public Broadcasting Morning Edition Host Geoff Norcross appeared on Jeopardy and actually had to set Alex Trebek straight on the subject. You can here Chris's original piece below.

I find it interesting that Trebek and/or Jeopardy's writers/producers fail to differentiate.

Their show is syndicated to each TV station in a parallel, though different manner, to the PBS membership and distribution method.

Has the Jeopardy crew forgotten their Broadcasting 101 course???

Great to see clarification for those not in the know.

No mention of the GOP war against NPR, public radio stations, etc.
