Dear web person,
Embedding HTML video is tricky for live events. I would have just linked to the WhiteHouse page rather than embedding the video for a live event. After the event, the video will be different. The WhiteHouse and YouTube channels often archive the live events later with specific videos that can be embedded.

Also, note that YouTube and some other video hosts allow URL fragments to allow the video to start at a middle point, if desired.
