Transcript

Brooke and Bob share their results from a number of quizzes - including Which Public Radio Host Are You? - and discuss what (if anything) they've learned about themselves and this viral sensation.

By the way, we have our own quiz, too! Find out which 19th century media baron you are here

Hosted by:

Bob Garfield and Brooke Gladstone

> BOB GARFIELD: The question is, what, if anything, have we learned, besides the fact that we can squander a half an hour [LAUGHS] of time?

We, the audience, also learned that the results of personality tests are a lot funnier and more interesting to the people taking them and friends of the people taking them than to random people who don't really know the people involved.

This segment was entirely unnecessary in a serious media-commentary show.

I confess that I haven't heard the article yet but I found your quiz (the 19th Century barons one) more pleasurable than the NPR hosts one. The reason for that is that I could honestly and accurately answer all your questions but there were at least two questions on the NPR hosts quiz that I could not answer (for example, I do not watch Downton Abbey so I didn't know who the characters were).
