When I wished years ago that I would buy anything branded "Not Microsoft" -- I was not wishing for google! or apple! or facebook! I was thinking something not so big and dumb and greedy.

I am so sick of Google trying to strong arm me into their Eco-system. They suck, all their apps are ugly as sin and if it weren't for their maps and youtube, I wouldn't have anything to do with them. At least Apple maps is catching up and is almost a viable replacement. They and Facebook are the future of the 'net. And I am too old and uncool, thankfully.
